Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Set to Star in New Film from "Dream Scenario" Director
Hollywood rising stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson might soon share the big screen in a new movie. Director Kristoffer Borgli is working on a project called "The Drama." The film company A24 will fund and produce this movie.
Borgli recently made waves with his film "Dream Scenario." "The Drama" will be his next big project. It's not certain yet if Zendaya and Pattinson have agreed to join, but talks have started. Borgli himself wrote the story for the film.
The plot details are still under wraps. However, some think the movie will be about a couple who face something unexpected just before a big day. A24 often works with Square Peg, Ari Aster's production company. Together, they've already made films like "Hereditary" and "Midsommar."
Other films are also in the works at A24 and Square Peg. For example, Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega will star in "Death of a Unicorn." And Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Emma Stone will be in a movie called "Eddington."
Zendaya has already had a great 2024. Her film "Dune: Part Two" earned over 700 million dollars worldwide. She also starred in "Challengers," a tennis drama. This film did well, and critics liked it. It made 94 million dollars globally.
Robert Pattinson played Batman in "The Batman" in 2022. Soon, we'll see him in "Mickey 17," a sci-fi film directed by Bong Joon-ho. He's also about to start filming "Die, My Love," directed by Lynne Ramsay.
Kristoffer Borgli's last film, "Dream Scenario," was a hit with critics. Peter Debruge, a top critic, said Borgli mixed humor and strangeness in a unique way.
Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Tyler Campellone will produce "The Drama." We don't know yet when the film will be shot or when it will come out in theaters.
