"Marlow Murder Club" Returns With New Cases and Premiere Date

The 'Marlow Murder Club' is set to return to PBS Masterpiece with a brand new season, promising more intriguing mysteries for fans to unravel. The second season of this cozy murder-mystery show will premiere later this year, bringing back the beloved characters and their penchant for solving crimes in the picturesque town of Marlow.

The show is scheduled to premiere on August 24th at 9 PM ET, alongside Season 6 of "Unforgotten." Viewers can look forward to another engaging evening of suspense and detective work.

According to PBS, Judith Potts, a retired archaeologist, and her friends find themselves drawn back into the world of crime-solving after a series of murders begins near the River Thames. Bond offered a glimpse into the upcoming season, teasing three distinct mysteries. "Season 1 is one story, and Season 2 is three stories," she explained. "You've got a posh murder that happens at Sir Peter Bailey's house... And then there’s a mystery set in a more modest bit of Marlow... And the third one is at the sailing club." She also the show's authentic setting, noting that filming takes place on location in Marlow itself, adding to the series' charm.
