After nearly two years of anticipation, Cartoon Network's innovative animated series Iyanu finally has a confirmed release date. The Nigerian mythology-inspired fantasy adventure will make its debut on Cartoon Network's linear television programming on April 5, with streaming availability on Max following on April 6.

The transition from page to screen has been overseen by original creator Ryan Okupe, who serves as creator, executive producer, and showrunner for the animated adaptation.
