Guardians of the Galaxy Stars Joining the DC Universe?
Ever dreamed of seeing your favorite Marvel heroes in a DC movie? Well, get ready for some exciting news! James Gunn, the big boss at DC Studios, is dropping hints that some familiar faces from "Guardians of the Galaxy" might be switching sides to join the DC Universe.
Rumor Mill in Overdrive
For a while now, fans have been buzzing about Chris Pratt and Pom Klementieff possibly joining DC's superhero lineup. With the new "Superman" movie just wrapping up filming, everyone's on the edge of their seats waiting to see what surprises James Gunn has in store for both DC and Marvel fans.
When a curious fan asked Gunn if he'd pick any Guardians stars for the DC Universe, he playfully replied, "Wouldn't that be a spoiler?" Talk about keeping us guessing!
Star-Lord in Metropolis?
Remember Chris Pratt, the guy who plays Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) in the Guardians movies? Well, he was spotted visiting James Gunn on the set of "Superman." When asked if he'd consider joining the DC Universe, Pratt said, "Yeah, of course!" He added:
"I'd be thrilled if it could fit into my schedule and made sense. I feel super lucky that I get to do any of these things or be considered for any of them. If it feels right and the fans would love it, I'd be happy to do it."
Pratt's not spilling the beans on which character he might play, though. He's leaving that up to the fans and people like James Gunn to decide.
Mantis Making Moves?
Pom Klementieff, who plays Mantis in the Guardians series, also hinted at joining DC. At a comic convention in San Antonio, she revealed:
"I just want to keep working with James, so we'll keep finding ways to do that. Yeah, we were talking about a specific character, but I can't talk about it right now."
A Family Affair
Here's a fun fact: James Gunn's brother, Sean Gunn, is already part of both universes! He played Kraglin Obfonteri in the Guardians movies and is now joining DC as the bad guy Maxwell Lord.
What's Next?
While we wait for more news, mark your calendars for July 11, 2025. That's when the new "Superman" movie hits theaters. Who knows? We might see some familiar Guardians faces in Metropolis!
