First Look at "F1" Movie with Brad Pitt Directed by Joseph Kosinski
The first trailer for the "F1" movie has been released. Brad Pitt stars in this production directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Apple TV+.
This film, shot during real Formula 1 races, promises to immerse viewers in the authentic world of Formula 1 racing. Pitt plays a retired driver who takes on the task of mentoring a rookie.
Apple TV+ unveiled the first adrenaline-packed footage of the racing thriller "F1" during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. This long-anticipated project is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who previously helmed "Top Gun: Maverick," a box office hit that grossed $1.4 billion. The film claims to feature "the most realistic racing scenes in cinema history." The production took place during various Formula 1 races worldwide last year, with Brad Pitt personally driving a modified F1 car for these scenes.
In "F1," Pitt portrays Sonny Hayes, a retired driver who returns to the Formula 1 world to train a young rookie driver played by Damson Idris, in the fictional team APXGP. The film was made in close collaboration with the Formula 1 organization.
The cast also includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo. Legendary Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton also served as a consultant on the film.
The screenplay for the film was written by Kosinski and Ehren Kruger, who previously collaborated on "Maverick." The "F1" movie is set to be released on June 25, 2025.
