''Dune: Prophecy''Release Date and New Trailer Revealed

HBO has unveiled a new trailer for the prequel series "Dune: Prophecy." Created by Frank Herbert, this series is set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides. "Dune: Prophecy" tells the story of two Harkonnen sisters who battle forces threatening humanity's future and establish the legendary order known as the Bene Gesserit.

The six-episode series is inspired by the novel "Sisterhood of Dune" written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. The cast includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha.

The production is a joint effort between Max and Legendary Television, the latter also producing the "Dune" film series, with the first installment winning six Academy Awards and receiving critical acclaim. The series is set to premiere in November 2024.
