Discover the First Trailer for "Captain America: Brave New World"
The first trailer for "Captain America: Brave New World" has been released. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand, it brings in stars like Harrison Ford and Liv Tyler.
Previously known as "Captain America: New World Order," the film was renamed "Brave New World" before its release. This change also led to significant reshoots that brought major changes to the storyline.
Marvel Studios has released the highly anticipated first trailer for "Captain America: Brave New World," giving fans a glimpse of the adventure ahead. Anthony Mackie, who portrayed Sam Wilson/Falcon in the first three Captain America films and in Avengers: Endgame, returns to the big screen. He has now embraced the role of the new Captain America, following his journey in the series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."
Directed by Julius Onah, known for "The Cloverfield Paradox," the film fills an important gap for Marvel's future. Joining Anthony Mackie are Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, known for her role as Arwen in "The Lord of the Rings," and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross (Thunderbolt), a role previously played by William Hurt.
In addition to Mackie, Tyler, and Ford, another major actor in the cast is Giancarlo Esposito, famous for his role as Gus Fring in "Breaking Bad." Esposito will play the main villain of the film.
The film is considered a spiritual sequel to "The Incredible Hulk." Other cast members include Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, and Xosha Roquemore. With the reshoots complete, Disney and Marvel have shared the first official trailer of the film.
