Call of Duty Black Ops 6: First Teaser Revealed Early

The first teaser for Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has been unveiled ahead of schedule thanks to some dedicated fans. Rumors are slowly being confirmed.

This will be one of Microsoft’s major announcements at the Summer Game Fest 2024. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be in the spotlight after the Xbox conference in a few days. Early leaks indicate that the game will take a new direction for its single-player campaign, fully embracing an open-world format. Modern Warfare 3 had tried some innovations, but the reception was poor. The 2024 installment, actually titled Black Ops Gulf War, will need to win over the community after the disappointment of its predecessor. Yet, the community remains loyal, as shown by their latest discovery.

First Teaser for Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Dedicated fans have managed to uncover the very first teaser for what will be called Call of Duty Black Ops 6 until its official release. A promotional site, called The Truth Lies, was discovered early. This teaser takes place on a cathode-ray TV. Players can change channels, pause, adjust the volume, and record the looping video. There are six channels available (interesting!), but for now, everything happens on the first one.

Initially, we see people climbing near Mt. Rushmore in the United States at night. Then, daytime images appear. A banner reading "The Truth Lies" is hung on the monument of historical figures. The three-headed Cerberus logo, which was seen during the announcement of the secret broadcast set to take place after the Xbox conference on June 9, is also present, confirming a showcase dedicated to this Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Activision is expected to start officially communicating about the game in the coming days.

As a reminder, the reputable The Wall Street Journal reports that Microsoft has decided to include Call of Duty Black Ops 6 in the Xbox Game Pass. With its subscription service stagnating, the Redmond firm is ready to sacrifice PC and console sales by making this next big hit free for millions of subscribers from day one. Sarah Bond, head of Xbox, recently indicated that this is the direction being taken, confirming that all games from in-house studios will be available in the XGP catalog upon release.
