Admiral Ackbar Returns in Ahsoka Season 2 to Battle Thrawn!

A truly iconic Star Wars character is set to make a triumphant return in Ahsoka Season 2, playing a crucial role in the unfolding story. Fans will be thrilled to learn that Admiral Ackbar, the Mon Calamari admiral famous for his declaration "It's a trap!", will be back in action.

Although Admiral Ackbar met his demise in *Star Wars: The Last Jedi*, during an attack on Leia's ship by Kylo Ren, he's making a comeback for Ahsoka Season 2. This time, he'll be going head-to-head with Grand Admiral Thrawn, the series' main antagonist.

Thrawn's Threat and Ackbar's Return As a recap, Thrawn successfully escaped his exile at the end of the first season and is now poised to rebuild the Empire's power in the primary Star Wars galaxy.

While Ahsoka and Sabine work to escape the planet they're stranded on, Ezra and Admiral Ackbar will be tasked with holding Thrawn at bay. Anakin Skywalker's Return That's not the only familiar face returning, however. During the recent Star Wars Celebration panel, it was also confirmed that Anakin Skywalker will be appearing in Ahsoka Season 2.

Hayden Christensen will once again portray the Chosen One. Whether he'll appear solely as a Force ghost or if the season will include more flashbacks to the Clone Wars era remains to be seen. For now, fans will have to wait and see how Anakin's return unfolds.
