Aardman Studios, Creators of "Chicken Run," to Revive Beloved "Pingu" Series
Everyone's favorite penguin is waddling back to our screens! In an exciting collaboration, Aardman Animations (known for "Chicken Run" and "Wallace & Gromit") and toy giant Mattel are joining forces to bring Pingu to a new generation of viewers.
A Legacy of Silent Storytelling
Created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann, Pingu first charmed audiences in 1986 as a Swiss-German co-production. The series, which follows the adventures of an anthropomorphic emperor penguin family at the South Pole, gained worldwide recognition in the 2000s under British production companies HIT Entertainment and HOT Animation.
