The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered: Coming Soon to PC?
A remastered version of The Last of Us Part 2 has been in the works for PC since November 2023. It may be announced at PlayStation's summer event.
According to a reliable industry source, Billbil-kun, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will soon meet PC users. The game has actually been in development since 2021 and has been ready since November 2023.
Billbil-kun, known for accurate leaks in the past, previously leaked that God of War: Ragnarok would be the next PlayStation game to come to PC in May 2024. Therefore, the assumption that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered could be the next PlayStation game to come to PC is quite strong.
The PC version of The Last of Us was developed by Iron Galaxy and Naughty Dog and faced some issues upon release. However, it is hoped that Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy have learned from this experience and will present the PC version in a better light. Since the PC version has been ready since November 2023, it is expected to be released in a highly polished manner.
It's not surprising that Sony is interested in bringing The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered to PC. The first game's PC version is currently the seventh most successful PlayStation game on that platform. While it may not have reached the sales figures of the Horizon games, it has still performed well.
It is worth noting that Sony may focus on introducing the PC version of this game with the release of God of War: Ragnarok on PC. Therefore, new information about The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered's PC version may be announced at PlayStation's summer event.
